The Green Papua project is a collaboration between several leading organizations dedicated to sustainability and innovation.

Medco Papua
Medco Papua, part of the Medco Group Conglomeration, operates in South Papua, Indonesia. Initially focused on renewable energy, the company added its focus on forestry and farming in 2015, in which it now manages 240,000 Ha forestry concession and 8,000 Ha agricultural estate. Today, Medco Papua has 3,000 ha of sustainable forestry within its large forestry concession and 400 Ha of rice plantation which is to be further expanded to 1000 ha, and owns and operates a 3.5 MW Biomass Power Plant, connected to the National Utility (PLN) transmission. The company continue to collaborate with local people providing vocational schools, youth training and local employment.
